I believe that one of the great gifts humans receive from animals is their clarity and pureness of heart. Like a newborn baby -- authentic and unchanged by the world -- animals carry this same authenticity and serve as great reminders of our essential selves. When you look in the eyes of an animal you see the pureness of their heart and are simultaneously reminded of your own. 

The pets we share our lives with are constant reminders of the power of unconditional love, acceptance, and friendship. We move through life striving, hoping, fighting, loving, losing and finding. Our pets help us to keep our finger on the pulse of life and what is really important.

All paintings are acrylic on gallery wrapped canvas with a depth of 1 1/4". I use only high quality 100% acrylic permanent lightfast paints that will last a lifetime. Because I use gallery wrapped canvas, it is not necessary to frame the painting -- but you are welcome to.
